Like the shouty header says, this site is an experiment using the online service OpenCalais and the Google Maps API to tag a bunch of documents. The documents just happen to be a bunch of news stories from the Warwickshire County Council website where I work.

It's absolutely, 100%, really really not meant to be a replacement for the WCC news site itself. It's just a toy to demonstrate automatic tagging of content.

All the subject tags are produced by OpenCalais and haven't been whittled down or edited in any way.
