Arts competition is a real cracker!
Children have brought their artistic skills to the fore in a bid to drive home festive fire safety messages.
For the past three months children have been painting, drawing and gluing their pictures together to enter a fire safety competition being run by Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service.
County Fire Officer, William Brown said:
“I was really impressed with the standards of pictures from children as young as five, you can see that they have all worked really hard to be creative. My job as judge was very hard and it was tough to decide on the winning categories, but they are all very much deserved. The variety of fire safety messages entered into the competition is a clear example that the work carried out on our schools programme is having a lasting impact.”
