Yesterday’s Toys - today’s exhibition

The latest exhibition at Warwickshire Museum is guaranteed to rekindle childhood memories for some and provide younger visitors with a fascinating insight into the past.

Yesterday’s Toys is a collection of toys produced in the first half of the 20th Century. All sorts of toys are included such the famous “Dinky Toys” made by in their thousands by the Meccano Company and owned by most children at the time.

The exhibition runs from Saturday 14 January until Saturday 25 February at
Warwickshire Museum at Market Place, Warwick.

Emma House, Museum Designer, said
“In those days toys were a luxury usually received at Christmas or for a birthday. We hope that this exhibition will bring back memories for some and provide an insight into toy making before the computer age.”
