Chance to win Ideal Homes Show tickets if you recycle
If you put out your kerbside recycling box this fortnight there is a chance that you will win a pair of tickets to this year's Ideal Homes Show at Earl’s Court in London worth £13 each.
The competition is being run in partnership between the county’s district councils and Warwickshire County Council under the Warwickshire Waste Partnership and the Waste Resources Action Programme (WRAP) in a bid to encourage more people to participate in kerbside recycling. There are 12 pairs of tickets up for grabs for the weekday shows, which start on the 9th March and run through to 2nd April.
Recycling will once again be taking centre stage at the show. Visitors will be able to experience the recycling loop for themselves by walking through Recycle Now’s Education Alley - a series of huge, interconnected, tin can tunnels, with interactive displays showing material as they make their way from the shop, into the home, through the recycling process and then back into new products.
To have a chance of winning the tickets all you need to do is put your recycling box with recyclables out for collection on your designated day. Households will be randomly chosen and then checked to see if they are recycling. If you do not have a recycling box and would like to request one or if you require a second red box please contact Waste Management on 01926 456341.
