A taste of history
Families are being invited to taste history at a special day in Nuneaton Library, where people will be able to see their own past come to life in front of their eyes.
On Saturday 8 April, from 10am to 1pm, the library will play host to a family history day with Warwick University’s ‘Bring out your dead’ study group.
There will be the opportunity to have free 30-minute sessions with an advisor to help visitors with their family history research and a wide range of resources will be available to help in the search.
Come along and discover the skeletons in the closet and see if you can trace your ancestors. You will be able to learn how to begin researching your family history and trace it back through the ages.
To avoid disappointment booking in advance is recommended. Please contact Nuneaton Library on 024 7638 4027.
Jane Sutton, Local Studies Librarian for Warwickshire County Council said: ‘There has been a high level of interest in family history recently and this is a great opportunity for local people to get help with their research.”
