Don’t miss the bus

Residents of Rugby are being called upon to have their say on bus services in the borough.

Cllr Martin Heatley, Warwickshire County Council’s Cabinet member for Environmental Services, said: “I’d urge as many people as possible to get along to this event and air their views on bus services.

“Warwickshire County Council’s Transport Operations Team works extremely hard with bus companies to ensure the best possible service is provided.’’

On Wednesday, April 19, a `bus user surgery’ will be held on a De Courcey Exhibition bus. The bus will be parked in Church Street, Rugby, in the layby outside Jessops.

The aim of the event is to allow people to express any views they wish on existing bus services in Rugby district, in addition residents can pick up information on timetables, route information and so on.

The `bus user surgery’ will be open between 10am and 1pm. More information on public transport is also available at the Warwickshire County Council web site at http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/publictransport
