Meet Lewis Page

The partnership between Warwickshire County Council and Warwick Books continues with another exciting ‘Meet the Author’ evening at Warwick Library.

Why is there still so much waste and blundering in the armed forces? Lewis Page, author of ‘Lions, Donkeys and Dinosaurs’, strips back the façade to tell us in a revealing talk at Warwick Library on Wednesday 26 April. The evening starts at 7.00pm.

Kate Mackie, Senior Team Leader, said: “Lewis offers forceful views on the British armed forces. Not everyone will agree with these views but they are sure to come away from the evening with a better understanding of what really goes on behind the scenes.”

Keith Smith from Warwick Books, said: “Lewis draws on his extensive career in the armed forces to really get to grips with their purpose, how they are led, and how they are funded. This insider’s view is bound to lead to a riveting evening, which also has important lessons for the future. Don’t miss it!”

Tickets cost £3.50 (£2 concessions) and are available in advance from Warwick Library or Warwick Books.

Why not save money with a season ticket offering a reduction on full price admission? A five event ticket costs £12.00, a ten event ticket £20. Copies of Lewis Page’s book, ‘Lions, Donkeys and Dinosaurs’, will be on sale at the event at a discounted price.
