Go batty at Ryton Pools Country Park

The first in a series of this summer’s bat evenings has been organised by Warwickshire’s Country Parks Service.

These popular events will be run at Ryton Pools Country Park and at Kingsbury Water Park during the summer months and you’re advised to book early as the limited number of places always fill very quickly.

This first batty event will take place at Ryton Pools Country Park on Saturday 6th May when, at 7.30pm there will be a slideshow, followed by a nightime stroll to spot these fascinating creatures.  Help will be at hand to help visitors spot the strange creatures that fly at night.

All bat detecting equipment will be provided but it would be useful to take a torch.  Prior booking is essential.  Please ring Ryton Pools Country Park on 024 7630 5592.

Cost: adults £2.50; concessions £1.50; family (max. 2 adults + 2 children) £5.00.

For further information on this event or for a free leaflet giving details of the huge range of events and activities being organised at all of Warwickshire’s Country Parks this summer, ring Kingsbury Water Park on 01827 872660 or e-mail: parks@warwickshire.gov.uk
