Packed week of activities ahead of centre launch
Half-term week is to see a host of activities staged at Bedworth Heath Leisure and Activity Centre on the run-up to the launch of the all-new Children’s Centre.
The Smorrall Lane, Bedworth, centre will celebrate the launch of Bedworth Heath Children’s Centre on Friday, June 2.
This all new centre marks phase three of a project which began in 2003 with the conversion of a house into offices and IT suite, the following year saw phase two transform the new leisure and activity centre.
And the centre will this coming week be packed with activities on the run-up to the launch with an advice and guidance drop in session from 10-12pm on Tuesday; chatting through composting with the experts on Tuesday from 2pm-4pm; on Thursday from 10-12pm there will be a chance to share memories; while on Thursday from 1pm-4pm there will be a host of challenges including sudoku and scrabble.
