Prams in the Park

New mums are being offered the chance to get out and about and meet other new mums at a series of new `Prams in the Park’ weekly walks getting underway next week.

Based at Ryton Pools Country Park, the first of the walks will get underway on Tuesday at 10.30am, and then each week for the next six weeks.

Each of the walks will last 45 minutes to an hour and will depart from the Visitor Centre entrance.

Cllr Martin Heatley, Warwickshire County Council’s Cabinet member for Environmental Services, said: “It’s a busy time being a new mum, but it’s good to get out and about, take some exercise and meet other new mums.

“Prams in the Park is great for new mums who want to do all these things, bringing babies in their prams, slings or back pack carriers.”

Ryton Pools Country Park is on the A445 about 15 mins drive from Leamington and 20 mins from Rugby. It has a café and shop as well as baby changing facilities. There is a £1.50 parking charge at the park and the walks are free.

There is no need to book for the walks, and for any further information contact Rosie Smith or Paula Gardiner on 01926 418638.
