Afternoon tea with Rosie Goodwin
Residents are being invited to afternoon tea with a special guest at Bulkington Library later this month.
Acclaimed author Rosie Goodwin will be at the library on Wednesday 28 June from 3pm until 5pm and visitors will be treated to a feast of stories, strawberries and cream and sparkling wine.
Rosie, who lives in Nuneaton, is the author of ‘No One’s Girl’ and ‘The Bad Apple’, which was short listed for the Romantic Novel Association’s New Writers’ Award. She will be sharing her stories and talking about her new book ‘Dancing till Midnight’.
Fellow author Jeannie Johnson said: “Rosie Goodwin is a born storyteller. She’ll make you cry, she’ll make you laugh, but most of all you’ll care for her characters and lose yourself in her story. She is an author designed for the top.”
Senior Library Assistant, Louise Carrington said: “Come and join us for an entertaining afternoon of tall tales and high tea! Don’t miss this opportunity to ask Rosie about her work.”
Tickets cost £3.00 and are available from Bulkington Library on 02476 314189 or Bedworth Library on 02476 312267. For more information about events at your local library please visit http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/libraries
