A Recipe for Success
Take one eating establishment located in Coventry and Warwickshire, add great food, a splash of local produce and a generous helping of excellent customer care, and you could be onto a winning formula!
Businesses who serve food and drink to the public, are being invited to enter this year’s Coventry and Warwickshire Food and Drink Awards.
Now in its fifth year, the awards have gone from strength to strength. The number and quality of entries has improved dramatically, making the competition even more exciting! It is hoped that this year will be the best yet!
Businesses are being encouraged to enter one of the following categories;
· Best Restaurant
· Best Café/Tea room
· Best Breakfast
· Best Ethnic Restaurant
· Best Junior Chef
To help increase the chances of winning, there are also two additional categories which will be selected by the judges from all of the entries received;
· Excellence in Quality and Customer Service
· Champion of Local Produce
And finally the eating establishments are being given the opportunity to nominate a local producer they use, as the;
· Best Local Producer
Entry into the scheme is quick and easy! Entrants simply complete their details on a form, attach samples of their menu, promotional material, and a list of suppliers, and tell us in no more than two paragraphs why they think they should win. The closing date for entries is Friday 21st July.
The winners will be an announced at a prestigious awards ceremony to be held at Draycote Hotel on Tuesday 17 October.
