Day of free fun for under-fives
Children aged five and under from Nuneaton and Bedworth can enjoy a day of free fun in the town.
A celebration of the way different services to support young children and families come together is being held as part of National Surestart month.
Youngsters can play at Adventure Kingdom in Freer Street, Attleborough on 26 June from 10am to 3pm.
There will be face painting, a bounce and rhyme and Fizz Kids activity sessions, and a fire engine on display.
Balloons, certificates and stickers will be on offer to youngsters while there will be giveaways and free advice and information. Warwickshire County Council’s Children’s Information Service will be on hand to answer queries about childcare, and the day will be highlighting the many services available at children’s centres in the borough.
Tracey Garratt of the Nuneaton & Bedworth Provider Development Service, which supports those working in early years and childcare said: “Parents in Nuneaton and Bedworth are being offered more services on their doorstep, all under one roof.
“This day of celebration will be bringing many of those services together in a place where children can have a great time and everyone can have some fun while finding out what’s on offer in the area.”
