Summer cycle training courses in the Warwick area
Young cyclists will have an opportunity to improve their cycling skills and on-road training during the summer holidays.
Warwickshire County Council’s successful cycle training scheme has trained 14,000 children over the last 5 years with all Warwickshire schools being offered training courses.
For children who miss out on these, courses are offered throughout the county during most school holidays.
In the Warwick area courses are based at Warwickshire College, Leamington Spa and training for young/new cyclists aged 7 to 9 will take place on Monday and Tuesday 24 and 25 July from 9am to 10.30am.
Those aged 9 years and over are offered on-road training Monday to Wednesday 24 to 26 July from 11am till 1pm. A further opportunity is offered later in the holidays, with courses running during the week commencing 21 August.
Course fees are £12.50 and £20 respectively, those successfully completing the course will receive certificates. For further information or to book a place contact Mary Holliday on 01926 412776
