Young cyclists are being offered the opportunity to improve their cycling skills and on-road training during the summer holidays.

Warwickshire County Council’s successful cycle training scheme has trained 14,000 children over the last five years with all Warwickshire schools being offered training courses.

For children who miss out on these, courses are offered throughout the county during most school holidays.

In the Stratford area courses are based at Stratford High School. Training for young/new cyclists aged seven to nine will take place on Monday and Tuesday 21 & 22 August from 11.15am to 12.45 pm. While those aged nine years and over are offered on-road training on the same days from 1.15pm until 4.15pm.
Course fees are £12.50 and £20 respectively, and those successfully completing the course will receive certificates. For further information or to book a place contact Mary Holliday on 01926 412776
