Ryton Pools Country Park 10th birthday celebrations
A decade-long success story is being celebrated at Ryton Pools Country Park with a range of activities next week, culminating in a party – and everyone is invited.
Every morning next week Warwickshire County Council’s Countryside Rangers will be putting on a variety of summer holiday activities and then on Tuesday, August 29, the 10th birthday celebrations will really get underway.
From midday on the Tuesday to celebrate the park’s ten successful years the rangers are having a birthday fun day to mark the ten summers and there will be a host of free activities for the family.
These include birthday clue trails; pond dipping; park history displays; quizzes; mask making; birds of prey; and meet mr rabbit & mr badger to get a balloon; plus of course birthday cake.
The rangers are inviting the public to join them and the celebrations by bringing their barbecues and picnics to the courtyard from noon for some birthday fun and games.
And as well as all the free activities visitors are also in with a chance to win a new car parking permit or renewal.
