999 Family fun day - open to all!
Firefighters from Stratford are asking families to come along and join in the fun this weekend at their 999 Family Fun Day.
The event, which is being run by Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service, will take place between 10am and 4pm at Stratford Fire Station, Masons Road, on Saturday 09 September. Those attending will be able to see a wide range of activities including a road traffic collision display, clown train ride, fair rides, free post coding for bikes by the police, circus skills displays, stalls, a samba band, bouncy castle and hose drills by the young firefighters.
Sub Officer, Adrian Ashley
“The main aim of the event is for people within the local community to come along and see what we do. Our job is about much more than just fighting fires which is why we are keen to promote the services we provide including free home fire safety checks, first responders, arson reduction and car clear. We also work with young people with schemes such as the young firefighters association, firebreak and the schools programme. The main emphasis of the day however, will be to have lots of fun! “
