Artsweek winner!

The winner of the prize draw organised by Warwickshire Artsweek 2006 has been announced.

Mary Taylor from Warwick who was delighted to win the framed, original etching by Warwickshire farmer and printmaker Bill Yardley.


Bill took part in this year’s Warwickshire Artsweek by opening his own studio exhibiting his etchings of farm animals and wildlife subjects.

The competition was organised to encourage people to visit as many of the venues as possible. To enter the prize draw vistors had to pick up an Artsweek Prize Draw Card visits to Artsweek venues and collect the Prize Draw Codes from at least four different venues. The prize draw card was also a short evaluation form that gave people the opportunity to have their say about their visits.

Warwickshire Artsweek is a biannual celebration of visual arts and crafts by Warwickshire residents and this year’s events took place across the county from 1 – 16 July.
