Last chance to go batty
The last of this summer’s bat evenings is being organised by Warwickshire’s Country Parks Service and you’re advised to book early as the limited number of places always fill very quickly.
This batty event will take place at Kingsbury Water Park on Wednesday 20th September when those taking part will start the evening with a talk about these fascinating creatures of the night, followed by hot jacket potatoes in the Old Barn Coffee Shop. Finally, a walk in the park to spot some bats when help will be at hand to help visitors spot these strange creatures that fly at night.
Meet at the Information Centre at 8.00pm for this two hour event. All bat detecting equipment will be provided but it would be useful to take a torch. Prior booking is essential. Please ring Kingsbury Water Park on 01827 872660. Cost £5.00 adults; £4.50 for under 16s (includes food but drinks are extra)
