Colin adds a touch of class

An internationally-acclaimed conductor will be guiding Warwickshire’s finest young classical musicians through their paces this term.

Warwickshire County Council’s County Music Service has signed up Colin Touchin to conduct their County Youth Orchestra.

During his career, Colin has developed a national and international reputation as a musician of the highest calibre. He is well known in Warwickshire from his time as Director of Music at the University of Warwick.

Colin’s appointment is one in a series of forward looking changes made by the County Music Service designed to allow young people of all abilities make music to the best of their potential.

Around 170 full and part time specialist teachers will be offering instrumental and group tuition. Groups, bands and classes start in the week beginning 18 September all over the county. Details are available at http://www.musicforlife.net
