The public gets a chance to extract Warwickshire’s past

This Saturday local history groups and members of the public will descend on Warwickshire County Council’s Museum Field Services, The Butts, to learn more about Warwickshire’s past and their heritage.

This is a rare chance to visit the Field Archaeology office and find out how it does its work and how the service can help the public.

The open day will enable the public to

· Meet the experts
· Help us process our latest finds
· See our archaeological and geological store
· Discover their local history
· Enter a competition and win a prize!

For further information or to learn about other organised events please contact Joseph Bates at josephbates@warwickshire.gov.uk or by calling 01926 418023.

The Museum Field Services can be found at The Butts, Warwick, CV34 4SS (opposite the Police Station and Punch Bowl Pub).
