Warwickshire Facilities Management awarded Chartermark

Warwickshire County Council’s Cleaning and Caretaking Support (CCSS) has been awarded the Chartermark Accreditation for customer service excellence.

The team, which is part of the Facilities Management Service, was assessed in the summer and has since been confirmed as achieving the standard.

Chartermark is a nationally recognised award, and is only awarded to services offering outstanding levels of customer service following a tough evaluation process involving interviews with customers, suppliers, partners and service staff, and visits to customer sites.

The team covers County Council run buildings throughout Warwickshire including schools, museums, libraries and other municipal buildings.

Susan Hodson, the Head of the CCSS said:

“My team and I were overwhelmed with the positive comments.  It was very rewarding to hear that our customers and partners had given such complimentary feedback to the assessor regarding our services.

“This has been a busy year for the team, in which we have also been reaccredited with the ISO 9000-2000 standard and the Investors in People status.  These awards are a testament to the hard work and commitment to improving and developing services in line with customer requirements”.
