Road Safety show is just magic for kids

Clowning around will carry a serious road safety message over the next two weeks as a tour gets underway of Warwickshire’s primary schools.

Road Safety’s popular clown will be touring Warwickshire’s primary schools again over the next two weeks with a special magic show, which teaches youngsters important road safety messages.

The show which has been organised by Warwickshire County Council’s Road Safety Unit, has been developed by a former Road Safety Officer – Richard Rozell – and reminds children to `stop, look and listen’ every time they are out near roads.

Stan Milewski, Warwickshire County Council’s Senior Road Safety Officer, said: “Although the children love the magic show, they are also learning vital safety messages at the same time and because they are having fun, we’re certain that they will remember what they’ve learnt.”

Over the past two and a half years the show has visited 120 schools in the county - reaching around 20,000 children.
