Streetlight fault reporting just got texty
More than 47,000 streetlights are illuminating Warwickshire on a nightly basis, and it’s just become easier to report a fault.
As well as the existing website, email and telephone routes, residents of Warwickshire can now alert engineers to faults via a text messaging service.
If a street light isn’t working just text LIGHTING and the fault details including town, street, column number or the location in a maximum of 160 characters to 07950 081 082 (Standard network charges apply).
When contacting Warwickshire County Council describe the nature and location of the fault in as much detail as possible. It is useful if you leave your contact details should one of our inspectors need to clarify the exact location of a fault
