Some might say Elsie’s a rock and roll star
A wonderwall surprise experience awaited Warwickshire resident, Elsie Swann, while visiting a London film studio.
Being in the right place at the right time showed the importance of not being idle for lucky Elsie who managed to get her photo snapped with Liam Gallagher and fellow Oasis band member, Andy Bell.
Elsie, aged 95 years, a resident at Warwickshire County Council’s Bracebridge Court in Atherstone was accompanied to London by Leisure and Activity Co-ordinator for the home, Christine Jenking.
Christine said: “Elsie was delighted to have her photograph taken despite not really knowing who the band were! Her grandchildren, however, were delighted to hear of his grandmothers celebrity meeting.”
