Artistic children get stuck into jams
Artistic youngsters at Ettington Primary are finding out which one of them will have their work used to help tackle congestion and cut down on the number of car journeys to school.
A prize giving is taking place at the Churchill Close school to children who took part in a competition to design Ettington Primary’s School Travel Plan front cover.
There is an overall winner’s prize and three runners, all of who will be presented with prizes and certificates.
The winning design will be the front cover of the plan that reduces car journeys to school and congestion around the school gates.
Karen Martin, with Warwickshire County Council’s Sustainability Unit, said: “A key part of developing a School Travel Plan is ensuring that staff, pupils, parents and the local community are working in partnership to reduce car journeys.”
