Don’t miss the bus when having your say on transport

Established and would-be bus users alike are being invited to attend an event in Warwick to have their say on how they believe things could be improved and learn more about services.

Warwickshire County Council is holding it’s first `Dr Bus’ surgery on Tuesday, March 20, from 10.30am until 2pm, the surgery will offer people the chance to chat with representatives from Warwickshire County Council and key bus operators in person.

The surgery will also allow people to find out more about timetables and the services available.

The consultation will take place on Warwickshire County Council’s newly converted exhibition bus, which aims to make information on services more readily available around Warwickshire.

Cllr Martin Heatley, Warwickshire County Council’s Portfolio Holder for the Environment, said: “I’d urge as many people as possible to get along to this event and air their views on bus services.

“Warwickshire County Council’s Transport Operations Team works extremely hard with bus companies to ensure the best possible service is provided, in order to achieve this,  we intend to extend the surgery’s across the county.’’
