Volunteer day this weekend at Ryton Pools
Exercise, fresh air and the knowledge that valuable work has been carried out at a country park are being offered this weekend at Ryton Pools County Park.
A Volunteer Day is being held on Saturday at Ryton Pools Country Park offering people the chance to do their bit in helping to maintain the park.
This is the date of the first of a monthly programme, taking place during the summer. Each month a different practical task will be worked on, giving those that take part some valuable experience in countryside management.
Please bring sturdy footwear and wear suitable clothing for the weather conditions. Meet at the Visitor Centre at 1pm.
