Volunteer day at Ryton Pools Country Park
An afternoon in the fresh air while taking some valuable exercise and helping to maintain a local country park is being offered at Ryton Pools Country Park tomorrow (Saturday).
This is the date of the second of a monthly programme, which will take place during the summer. Each month a different practical task will be worked on, giving those that take part some valuable experience in countryside management.
Please bring sturdy footwear and wear suitable clothing for the weather conditions. Meet at the Visitor Centre at 1pm.
