Half term fun at Ryton
Children won’t have a chance to get bored during the half-term holiday with plenty of fun activities organised to take place at Ryton Pools Country Park next week.
There will be events for various age groups of children up to 12 year olds taking place on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and parents should book in advance to reserve their places - telephone Ryton on 024 7630 5592.
The following activities are taking place at the park:
Tuesday, May 29, there will a pond dipping session taking place between 11am and 12.30pm for 3 –12 year olds.
Wednesday, May 30, from 11am to 12.30pm there will be a sensory explorers events with games for 3 to 12 year olds.
Thursday, May 31, there is a woodland mini-beast event from 11am to 12.30pm for 3 –12 year olds.
Friday, June 1, 11am – 12.30pm 5 – 12 year olds will be able to make their own dens.
On all events, a responsible adult must accompany children and no younger siblings can attend. The cost is £2.50 per child, per activity. Booking is essential by calling 024 7630 5592.
