Carbon footprint training
Community groups in Nuneaton and Bedworth, or North Warwickshire, are being offered the chance to both save money and help protect the environment.
Groups with a community facility owning or leasing on a long-term basis are being offered the training through Building Sustainable Neighbourhoods, supported by Warwickshire County Council.
The training day will cover:
Why Sustainable Energy
Using energy efficiently
Options for community buildings
Grants and incentives available
The training will be on Tuesday 26th June 2007 between 10am – 4pm at Nuneaton Young People’s Club. A free lunch is included.
This is a free course for community groups in Nuneaton and Bedworth and North Warwickshire, but those booking must notify the organisers if they are unable to attend at least one week in advance, otherwise they will be invoiced £50.00. This is so places can be offered to other people.
