Summer solstice overnight walk
Walkers are being invited to see in dawn on the shortest night of the year (well almost) for a summer solstice walk along the Stratford Greenway.
Join Countryside Rangers at The Stratford Greenway for the eight-mile overnight walk starting on Saturday and finishing at dawn on Sunday.
The walk will set off from the car park at the Stratford end of The Greenway at midnight and will give walkers the opportunity to experience wildlife at night.
Anyone walking is advised to wear warm clothing and to take a torch. Booking is essential; please ring Ryton Pools Country Park on 024 7630 5592.
The cost is adults £1.50; concessions £1.00; family (max. 2 adults + 2 children) £3.50.
