Don’t miss the chance for a share of community funding
Community groups should be buzzing in anticipation of the chance to pick up a share of a new cash pot in `WASPS’ funding.
WASPS is the Warwickshire Access to Service Partnership Scheme and a small grant scheme has recently become available. The grant could assist rural groups, charities and parish councils, to improve access to employment and services.
Funding for the grant ranges from £100-£5,000. Grants under £500 could be eligible for 100 per cent funding. Grants between £500-£5000 could be eligible for 75 per cent with 25 per cent match funding needed.
The money can be spent on such things as:
Helping to get people to services
Getting services to people
Improved information
Better access to IT services
Funding is available to any voluntary organisation, community group, business or registered charity within Warwickshire this includes isolated businesses.

Bus shelters
IT/Multi Media Equipment
Training
Information Packs
Transport costs
