Shipston and Henley libraries remain closed
The libraries Henley in Arden and Shipston-on-Stour are to remain closed while damage caused by the flooding is repaired.
Henley in Arden library has been damaged by mud brought in with the water and is likely to be closed for four weeks for redecoration and replacement of carpet.
Shipston-on-Stour library has sustained serious water damage and will remain closed for at least six weeks. Most of the furniture will have to be replaced as will a significant amount of the books.
Warwickshire County Council is aksing residents in flood hit areas not to worry about returning overdue books. Updates will be posted on the library website accessed from the link below.
