Dr Bus in Stratford and Bidford on Tuesday
Established and would-be bus users alike are being invited to attend events next week in Stratford and Bidford to have their say on how they believe things could be improved and learn more about services.
Warwickshire County Council will be holding consultation events in Rother Street, Stratford and High Street, Bidford on Tuesday, July 31.
The surgeries will offer bus users a chance to chat with representatives from Warwickshire County Council and also key operators in the area. The events are part of Warwickshire County Councils ongoing programme of consultation events across the County.
The events will be carried out on a Warwickshire County Council’s own exhibition bus. The event will allow people to find out more about timetables and the services available.
The event is based at Rother Street, Stratford, between 10.30am and 1pm - the bus will be parked adjacent the fountain. Followed by an event in High Street, Bidford, at 2pm, finishing at 3.30pm.
Cllr Martin Heatley, Warwickshire County Council’s Portfolio Holder for the Environment, said: “I’d urge as many people as possible to get along to these events and air their views on bus services.
“Warwickshire County Council’s Transport Operations Team works extremely hard with bus companies to ensure the best possible service is provided.’’
