Shipston Library closed due to flood damage
Warwickshire Library and Information Service regret to announce that Shipston-on-Stour Library will be closed until further notice due to flood damage.
The clean-up has begun and the library will re-open as soon as possible. In the meantime, Shipston Library customers can return books to any Warwickshire Library or drop them off at Stratford District Council’s Shipston Area Office at 44 Telegraph Street. The Area Office can only take returned books and will not be able to deal with any library enquiries or book renewals. It is open Monday to Friday 9am-1pm and 2pm-5pm. Warwickshire Library and Information Service would like to thank Stratford District Council for their help at this time.
Customers can renew their library books online at http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/libraries or via the 24hr renewal line 01926 499273. Warwickshire Library and Information Service would like to assure Shipston Library customers that they will not be charged if books go overdue during this time.
Customers awaiting requested books will be contacted by library staff when the books become available. Help and advice can be obtained by ringing Stratford Library on 01789 292209.
