Firefighters head for the farm
Warwickshire County Council’s Fire and Rescue Service is inviting parents and children to come along and see inside a real fire engine during the bank holiday weekend.
Firefighters from red watch, Leamington will be at Hatton Country World between 10am and 4pm on Sunday 26 and Monday 27 August. Families visiting the centre will be able to come along and talk to firefighters about the fire safety in their home, learn how to create an escape plan and find out which room in your home is at most risk of fire.
Crew Manager, Jerry Horne said:
“The bank holiday weekend is usually a very busy time at the park and we are hoping to be able to talk to lots of families. This should be a really fun event and where parents can find out all they need to know about fire safety in the home and the children can have a look around a fire engine, hopefully keeping everyone happy.
“So if you are visiting Hatton Country World this weekend, then just come along and join in the fun, you could learn some lessons that could literally save your life!”
