Prams in the Park to run all year

The huge success of Prams in the Park at a north Warwickshire country park is to see the scheme operate through the year.

Warwickshire County Council’s Country Parks team has decided that because of high demand the Prams in the Park event will continue through the autumn and winter months at Kingsbury Water Park.

Sally Silk, Country Parks Visitor Manager, said: “The decision to run Prams in the Park all year at Kingsbury follows feedback from a number of the regular participants and their commitment to attend future walks.”

Walks will be held over the next few months on October 17, November 14, December 12, January 16, February 13 and March 12.

Prams in the Park is a series of monthly walks around the country park, which launched at Ryton Pools Country Park.

It is designed to give parents the opportunity to get some fresh air and exercise, at the same time as being able to meet up with other mums and dads and their babies.

The walks will take just over an hour, starting at the Information Centre at 10.30am. The cost is £1.50.
