Business bosses give pupils ‘real’ job interview
Year 10 students from Queen Elizabeth School, Atherstone, have been put through their interview paces.
Representatives from the business world spent three days at the Atherstone school working with pupils on their interview skills.
The students received a Student Guidance Pack explaining the purpose of the interview and giving them tips on preparing for future interviews and completing application forms.
The event was co-ordinated by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, which organises various initiatives to help prepare young people for the world of work.
Businesses who attended the days included Land Rover and the Army.
Warwickshire Education Business Partnership works as part of Warwickshire County Council with businesses and schools to help address the constant demand from employers for school leavers to be ‘work ready’.
