They really did make a difference

Two dedicated Warwickshire County Council workers bid a fond farewell after many years service in the care profession.

Jean Lowe and Maureen Hinton recently retired and although they are moving on to do different things during their retirement, their verdict on the care services was unanimous – ‘it really does make a difference.’

Jean Lowe who was manager at Stratford Home Care said
“I’ve seem many changes over the years, it’s now a highly trained profession, and I’m leaving the service in good hands.”

Maureen Hinton was Assistant Manager at Lower Meadows in Stratford said “I’ve met lots of lovely people and a few characters along the way, which all adds to the enjoyment of the job.”

Jean is looking forward to having time to catch up on gardening and reading, and spending more time with her family.

Maureen has her own horses and welcomes the opportunity to spend more time with them, she is particularly keen to get involved with Riding for the Disabled again.
