Students focus on their finances

The importance of efficient personal money handling is being uncovered next week at an event for 16 year olds at Polesworth School.

On Thursday, November 22, Warwickshire Education Business Partnership will be delivering a whole morning totally devoted to the many financial issues and choices, which face young people today.

They will look at such issues as personal spending and budgeting, the cost of living, sales ploys and credit. A number of business people with a financial background will act as consultants for the students.

The event has been co-ordinated by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, working as part of Warwickshire County Council with businesses and schools to help address the constant demand from employers for school leavers to be ‘work ready’.
