Pupils to have a profitable time
Year 7 students from Ash Green School will be taking on an Enterprise Challenge co-ordinated by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership today.
The event will involve the 11 year olds taking part in a business simulation whereby they set up and run a Production Company.
The exercise will involve them making finance and personnel decisions, purchasing materials and running a production line where they produce the goods, which they then have to sell in order to make a profit.
The event has been co-ordinated by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, working as part of Warwickshire County Council with businesses and schools to help address the constant demand from employers for school leavers to be ‘work ready’.
