An enterprising challenge for Old Arley pupils
Pupils from Herbert Fowler Primary School, Old Arley, will be enjoying themselves taking part in an Enterprise Challenge Day co-ordinated by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership next week.
The event on Friday, December 14, will take on a Christmas theme, with 31 11-year-olds using their enterprise skills to produce some new and innovative Christmas merchandise.
The pupils will receive business advice and guidance from representatives of local businesses such as Coventry Building Society and Warwickshire Police.
Michaela Griffin from the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership said: “This is a really lovely opportunity for the pupils to gain a gentle introduction to the world of business in a fun, topical way.”
The event has been co-ordinated by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership who organise various initiatives to help prepare young people for the world of work.
