Fresh air in the country on Boxing Day

After all the excitement of the build up to Christmas and the festive fayre of Christmas Day itself, why not relax and unwind in the fresh air of Warwickshire’s lovely countryside.

It may still be the Christmas Season but Countryside Rangers will be back at work ready to take you on a gentle stroll that will work off some of those festive excesses.

Walks will take place at three of Warwickshire County Council’s countryside sites – Kingsbury Water Park, Ryton Pools Country Park and Hartshill Hayes Country Park – so there’s no excuse for not finding a walk near you.

Country Parks Visitor Manager, Sally Silk, said: “These walks are always very popular and well attended. Visitors seem to love the opportunity to get out into the fresh air after all the hustle and bustle leading up to Christmas.”
