Revealed! Warwickshire’s top Wedding Venues
Anyone who ‘popped the question’ over Christmas and the New Year may now be thinking about where their wedding can take place…
The most popular venues for civil wedding ceremonies in Warwickshire have been revealed by Warwickshire Registration Services.
In the period 2006 to 2007, registrars in Warwickshire performed an amazing 2,158 wedding ceremonies across the county - an average of over 41 weddings a week! Almost 1,200 of these took place at venues, other than register offices, that have been approved to host marriages.
Warwickshire continues to be a popular county for civil marriages and more civil weddings are taking place in approved premises rather than in register offices.

“If you do not want a religious ceremony, a civil marriage can be performed by registrars from Warwickshire Registration Services at any venue that holds a licence to host weddings. The registrars will guide you through the legal formalities and ensure that your day runs as smoothly as possible.
“There are many ways that the ceremony can be made more personal to you. The registrars can offer a choice of vows, readings and music and, as it is your special day, your own suggestions are welcome.”
