George Eliot pupils get an interview insight
Year 10 students from George Eliot School will be having the luxury of a ‘Practice Interview’ with local business representatives over three days next week.
On the 17th, 18th and 19th March, they will get face to face help to follow on from the Student Guidance Pack they’ve already received explaining the purpose of the interview. This also gives the students tips on preparing for future interviews and completing application forms.
The event has been co-ordinated by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, and businesses including the Army, Coventry Building Society, DHL Exel, The Griff House Hotel, Land Rover, Unipart and Domestic & General will be helping out on the day to make the interviews feel as real as possible.
The EBP works as part of Warwickshire County Council with businesses and schools to help address the constant demand from employers for school leavers to be ‘work ready’.
