Stockton Household Waste Recycling Centre opening times
Stockton Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) will open three days a week from next month until the end of August.
During the redevelopment of Hunters Lane HWRC Warwickshire County Council made arrangements for Stockton HWRC to open seven days a week, from September 2007 until Hunters Lane reopened in March 2008 (the site had previously been open at weekends only).
The extended opening hours were to ensure residents continued to have access to a recycling centre while Hunters Lane was closed for refurbishment.
Following the success of the extending opening hours at Stockton HWRC, Warwickshire County has decided to open the site for three days a week. The new arrangements mean the site will now open Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
These extended site opening hours will remain in place up to and including the summer Bank Holiday of Monday 25th August, 2008.
The opening times of Stockton HWRC will be as follows:

Hunters Lane HWRC reopened to the public on Tuesday 18th March. The site offers improved facilities for local residents and has been designed to ensure it can meet current and future recycling needs. Users of the new site should be aware that there is now a one-way system in place and should look out for the signs directing them to the recycling areas.
Cllr Martin Heatley, Warwickshire County Council’s Portfolio Holder for the Environment, said: “We are delighted to report that Stockton recycling centre will open for three days a week until the end of August, this will allow local residents to continue using this facility over the busy summer period.“
