Pupils put their interview skills to the test

Year 10 students from Ash Green School are being put through their interview paces this week as part of activities to make sure they are ready for the world of work.

Local business representatives are spending three days with the pupils at the event, which gets underway tomorrow and continues on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Ash Green pupils have received a Student Guidance Pack explaining the purpose of the interview and giving the students tips on preparing for future interviews and completing application forms.

The event has been co-ordinated by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, a part of Warwickshire County Council, who organise various initiatives to help prepare young people for the world of work.

Local businesses attending to interview the students include the Army, DHL Exel, Land Rover, Tesco, Warwickshire Police, Xoserve, Meggitt Braking Systems and Galliford Try.
