Rugby teenagers TV test
Year 10 students from Bilton School in Rugby will be learning all the skills needed to launch their own TV channel at a Business Challenge day tomorrow.
Fullrange Media, a media company based in Warwick, will be issuing the challenge and helping the students to research, schedule programmes, attract advertisers, market their channel and try to balance the budget.
The students will show their creative and innovative solutions to the judges in a two-minute power point presentation and an overall winning team will be chosen.
The event has been co-ordinated by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, a part of Warwickshire County Council, who organise various initiatives to help prepare young people for the world of work.
