Management training for school prefects

Prefects at a Nuneaton school could soon be calling on fellow pupils to ‘think outside the box’.

Or maybe to ‘all to sing from the same hymn sheet’, or even to ‘work smarter not harder’, as they undertake management training.

The business world is today descending on Nuneaton’s George Eliot School where students who have been chosen as Prefect Team Leaders and Head Boys and Girls enjoy top management tips.

The students are today receiveing management training to better prepare them to carry out their roles within the school.

They will undergo specialist training to help them deal with decision-making, leadership, delegation and handling difficult situations.

The event is being organised by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership, a part of Warwickshire County Council, as part of their commitment to preparing young people for their adult working life.
